My Background

Following my degree in Geography from the University of Southampton, I struggled to find which direction I wanted my career to go in. I knew I was a people focused person so after a short time, I started a position within a recruitment consultancy. This was an extremely busy role dealing with a variety of clients and candidates for a range of organisations, it was this variety that I relished in and soon found I was thriving in the competitive recruitment world. After 5 years working in recruitment, I decided to make the move into HR, focusing solely on the people rather than the competitive sales aspect and has been a decision I will never look back on. Having spent 3 years working in an internal HR position I have loved every minute and I have joined the consultancy in April 2022 to further my career, support and make a difference to multiple businesses as an HR Consultant.

I am a very positive person and like to think this comes across in my approach to working. I value honesty and respect and believe this helps to build the best working relationships.

I chose to make my career move to HR & OD as the consultancy's core values align perfectly with my own and the people come across as very proactive and conscientious. I thrive the best in a positive and productive environment and I know I will learn a lot from the team here!

My interests

I like to go for regular walks in and around my hometown and explore the Cotswolds further (especially if the walk involves a pit stop at a local pub!). I love travelling and although the pandemic has put a recent stop to this I have taken up baking and always like to make delicious treats for any occasion, such as a Monday!
